It's been very long that I have been to my blog, I am talking about the old blog of mine that I update rarely.
For those of you who didnt figure it out, its http://tatreallysucks.blogspot.in. Yeah I know, it did suck big time !! I hardly remember the password for the account to login to his blog. But, guess what, Google's security is so cool that I finally ended up here.
Just because my IP address says I am from USA though I live in India, Google suspected that something is really different the way I login to my blog !! Of course it is my stupidity not to remember my first phone number. Dont lose the hope !! Lets try this new super cool feature !! Reset your password instead.
So, here we go with the super cool tool which is going to save my day.
At first screen it asks for my contact information and I give my contact email, so that they can send me my password which I already managed to recollect and also the password with which I logged into the account.
The second step deals with some basic information like the last password you remembered, the date & month when you last logged into your account. In which month have you created you account.
I do remember my birthday perfectly, I do remember my first job, I hardly remember few of my friend's birthdays too. But its purely lack of common sense not noting down the month when I created my gmail account along with few other accounts like yahoo, rediff, facebook, orkut, linkedin, bitcomet, naukri, monster etc etc. Point noted. Going forward I will for sure note down the date and month whenever I create something new online !
These people make me feel stupid again and they like it :p
Anyways, they give me the privilege to skip my stupidity this time. Yippee :D
After verifying the basic general information its time for some serious business.
"Email addresses of up to five frequently emailed contacts" hmmm that's an interesting question.
1. XYZ's Bank: They made me the winner of their lottery in every quarter for the year 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013... and I won a minimum of USD 9,800,000 each time.
Yeah, you better mind it, my email account has serious transactions. By the way I am sorry, I cant reveal the bank name, kind of confidential and one of T&C not to disclose this to anyone.
2. Mr. Bhow Bhow: Confidential again.... Hope you understand !!!
Mr. Bhow donates million dollars every month but needs my help with it.
3. Job: AT&T, DELL, TATA etc etc companies need me and are willing to offer me job with 90K salary though I am not sure why are they so interested in me.
4. ZYX Bank: They always want to give me Loan, all they need is just few personal details of mine.
5. Several Other Sites: There are many sites which keep on sending me mails.
Like linkedin which keeps on saying my friend's requests are waiting for me.
Twitter: Venu, find your friends on twitter
Twoo: Read this message before it deletes.
Online stores: Exclusive offer only for you... Hurry up.

And, this is called Marketing I believe. They are very interested to know when was the month the I started using Google products like Android, Gmail, Calender and Talk.
In case if you still have the hope to get your account back then you may click Submit, which will for sure end up saying "The information you've provided does not match the information on the account. You can try submitting another claim with more accurate information."
I guess the above "Submitting another claim" is a typo, it should be something like. You can try submitting another new account.
Thank you Google :) If it wasnt you, I wouldn't have blogged today !!
